Top 5 Playlists to Get You Moving

brittany.yoga-16.jpg

Like most humans, I’ve always loved music. As a kid I loved rocking out to Motown and blasting Brandy with my boom box on repeat. Now, as a yoga instructor, I have an excuse to spend an inordinate amount of time tracking down new music to create the perfect playlists. Because let’s face it, music can reallllly make or break any yoga or fitness class. Obviously music is subjective so my taste might not be your jam, but I wanted to share a handful of playlists that just might make your walk/drive/workday/workout more enjoyable. Playlists are organized from chill to high energy. You can find all of my playlists on Spotify under Brittany Fay. Happy listening!

Brittany’s Top Yoga Playlists

  • Yin: This was the first playlist I made for a Yin class. Very relaxing. Minimal lyrics.

  • Yin 4.0: I know, I know. I am very creative with playlist names. More chill vibes for you.

  • Yoga Fave: Starts slow, builds up, and winds down. Great for more active yoga, walking, or running.

  • January 2019: A fair amount of electronic music. A balance of chill and upbeat.

  • YMCA YS 2.0: A high energy, beat focused playlist. Good for lifting weights or car dancing.
