Welcome! I’m Brittany Rose Fay.

I’m a yoga teacher, wellness facilitator, and mama living in the seaside town of Bellingham, WA. My mission is to create space for you to reconnect to your body and discover your unique flow - on and off the mat. My offerings are rooted in service and a deep belief that we are inextricably interconnected - within, with each other, and with nature. After a long pause to bring my second baby into the world and keep my family safe during the pandemic, I am so excited to be rebuilding this community online and in person. Thank you for being here!

 

Values

I believe that to live in your purpose is to lead with your values. Below are the guiding principles that fuel my work. I am imperfect and constantly working to learn and do better.

Social Justice 

I believe that all people deserve to be treated with respect and humanity. I am committed to continued learning and action to support anti-racism. I am also dedicated to fighting against misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia, and all other forms of oppression of marginalized people. 

Holistic Health = Anti-Diet

I believe that health goes way beyond food and movement. I value physical health as well as mental, social, emotional, and environmental health. I believe that diet culture is harmful and rooted in oppression. I do not encourage clients to engage in weight loss, restrictive eating behaviors, body shame, or compulsive exercise as I believe this will ultimately cause more harm than good..

Sustainability 

I embrace sustainability in all aspects of life - from creating sustainable lifestyle changes to limiting my environmental footprint. I have a deep respect and appreciation for nature and a passion for environmental sustainability. I am dedicated to doing what I can to fight climate change and protect the natural world.

Slow and Simple

The culture of over-achieving and immediacy is something that I am working to disrupt through my business as well as with my clients. I strive to slow down and simplify whenever possible. This applies to my schedule as well as my approach to motherhood, food, movement, and fashion. It also includes taking my time to thoughtfully respond to messages.

Accessibility

I believe that we all deserve to have access to the support we need regardless of financial circumstances. It is my goal to offer sliding scale offerings as well as free content to support humans of all income levels. As a new business owner I’m still figuring this out. If you want to work 1:1 and are currently experiencing financial hardship, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
